Internships

Our interns don’t make the coffee.

They do help plan events, design publications, run summer programs and much more.

We’re excited to use your talent and ideas to make a difference. In return, you’ll gain valuable experience for your resume and meet contacts in your field.

We have offered past internships in finance, marketing communications, graphic design, grant writing, human resources, early childhood, child welfare, refugee services and more.

LSI accepts interns year round. We’ll work with your schedule and ours to determine the best timing and fit. The number of hours may vary by internship, but our program is fairly flexible.

Because we are a nonprofit, we only offer unpaid internships. However, we think you’ll find that the experience and connections you will gain will be well worth your time.

We are also open to creating specific opportunities if your interest matches our needs.
