Insurance Information
Home health care can be paid for through Medicaid, Medicare or private pay insurance. Each one works a little differently, so please read our quick summary below.
Everything we provide is physician-driven. You will need a physician’s order for services, with the exception of homemaking services.
Medicare
Medicare will pay for skilled services, such as nursing or therapy. If you are using a skilled service, then Medicare will also cover a home health aide, which can help with your bathing and personal care needs.
Medicare does not pay for homemaking if that is the only service you are receiving. Homemaking can be paid by private pay or with a waiver for low-income patients who need an intermediate level of care.
Medicaid
Medicaid will cover bathing and personal care for those with chronic needs, even if you aren’t receiving other nursing care.
Private Insurance
We accept all private insurance providers. Please check with your provider on what your policy covers.
