Learn more about LSI’s therapy services.
Play is a natural way for children to express their feelings, and it can be a therapeutic way for children to cope with stress or trauma. It could help a child struggling with a parent’s divorce or family problem. It can also help children who suffered abuse or neglect.
Therapy for teens
We provide therapy for teens with emotional or behavioral issues. This can help teens who are beyond the control of their parents or in trouble at school or home. It could also help a teen who is physically aggressive, hurting animals, violent, depressed or anxious.
Therapy for adults
Therapy may help if you are going through a divorce, having relationship problems or facing depression, anxiety or other issues. It can also help parents who are having relationship issues and conflicts with their children.
Who is eligible
LSI accepts both Title 19 (Medicaid) insurance and private pay cases.
If you have Title 19 insurance, you will need to have a mental health assessment of your child completed first to see if services are necessary. This is also known as an LPHA assessment.
Some LSI sites have advanced clinicians on staff who can do this assessment, or we will refer you to another local agency. The assessment and the services are completely through your Title 19 insurance.
