Church Relations

For more than 150 years, LSI has partnered with churches and faith communities to bring hope, healing, and wholeness to our neighbors. Our collaboration with church and faith community partners supports our mission to respond to the love of Jesus Christ through compassionate service. Together, as ministry partners, we can better serve Iowa children and families. Join LSI as a ministry partner today!

Schedule an LSI Speaker

LSI looks forward to joining you in worship and fellowship. We now offer virtual programs tailored to your faith community’s interests or needs, as well as in-person presentations. If you are looking for a special presentation for your church conferences, women of the church or men’s groups, cluster, or adult education classes, we invite you to call today and request an LSI speaker.

First Circle Friends

Caregivers work 24 hours a day to ensure loved ones are safe. But caregivers need a break too.

LSI’s First Circle Friends program partners with Iowa churches to provide group respite care for people with early to mid-stage memory loss and their families. The program provides a warm, welcoming environment for loved ones while giving caregivers an opportunity to care for themselves.

If your church would be interested in starting a First Circle Friends group, please contact ChurchRelations@LSIowa.org.

“First Circle Friends is heaven-sent. Without it, I couldn’t do what I need to do.” – Laura, a caregiver and wife

Prayer

Therefore I tell you whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours. – Mark 11:24

Your prayers are one of the most important ways to support LSI. You can lift up the needs of our neighbors and the mission of LSI by praying for strength, hope, and healing for the thousands of Iowans we are privileged to serve.
