9 – 10 a.m.: Welcome and large group meeting; setting the context — welcome, opening, and goals of the conference (Lisa Cushatt)
10:15 – 11:50 a.m.: Academic (Yvonne Farley); Juvenile Justice (Judge Minot — David Brown will facilitate); Business (Liz Cox); Health Care (Anne Nielsen and Amy Shriver); Practitioner (Gladys Alvarez)
11:50 a.m. to noon: Break
Noon – 1:30 p.m.: Group lunch meeting (Iowa Health and Human Services Policy Makers: Rick Shults, Administrator for Mental Health and Disability Services at DHS will join Department of Education Director Ryan Wise for a panel discussion.)
1:30 – 2:45 p.m.: Iowa Showcase (aka Gallery Walk) and networking/multi-topic groups and planning – Five rooms available for additional interests, planning, and collaboration. (Ex: prevention, mental health and disability services, law enforcement, adult judicial branch and corrections, faith-based sector; child welfare and family services sector; state border cities).
2:45 – 4 p.m.: Diversity (Hieu Pham), Public Policy (Chaney Yeast and Dave Stone), Public Health (Holly Hanson), K- 12 (Armeda Wojciak), Rural Communities (Cheryll Jones)
4 – 4:10 p.m.: Break
4:10 – 5 p.m.: Closing session (Chi Kim– Pure Edge Victor Carrion, Stanford Medical School)
This training has been approved for 6.5 hours of foster parent training credit.

Please print and fill out this certificate and bring it to the training. Have your caseworker and training facilitator sign the form to ensure you receive the CEUs available. Always notify your caseworker or recruiter of your intention to attend any of the training or support group events on this calendar.
