Emotional manipulation can be so destructive, it’s important to be able to recognize it and understand the reasons behind the “strategy.” Our children, as emotional manipulators, can be very skillful. Fortunately, emotional manipulators are easy enough to spot if you know what to look for. In this course, we will discuss ways of identifying and understanding how our children are navigating us with their manipulation.
Course Objectives: To give caregivers and social workers
- an understanding of why children “manipulate”
- tools to identify, understand, and stop the patterns of manipulation
Instructor: Hector Villareal
