This training reviews the dynamics of battering and allows child welfare workers to learn how those dynamics may sabotage the efficacy and safety of a FTDM meeting. This course utilizes family team meeting facilitation skills to develop the family’s plan when domestic violence is involved and provides an understanding of what facilitators need to know to determine the best method to facilitate a family team meeting.
This training has been approved for 5.5 hours of foster parent training credit.

Always notify your caseworker or recruiter of your intention to attend any of the training or support group events on this calendar.
