Parenting children from hard places will likely be the most challenging thing adoptive and foster parents will do in their lifetime. Left unchecked, the stress and overwhelm can overtake them. We will explore not only what happens as a result of this ongoing stress, but also what can be done about it. Often, parents focus on how to help their children heal; this session will explore ways to help parents heal. Trainer will be sharing from both a personal and professional perspective.
