Establishing New Health Habits

The session aims to help caregivers explore new habits to better meet the nutritional, relational, and organizational needs of their busy family. Tonya and Michelle will provide practical steps to getting families organized. Through meal planning, families are enabled to sit down together for balanced meals and foster healthy relationships with food and fuel their bodies well. Tonya will discuss balanced diets and share how meal planning can help caregivers cook delicious, nutritious meals that the whole family will enjoy, while saving time and money at the grocery store. Michelle will share her skills to help caregivers organize time and space, get back on track with goals, and create a home with more order than chaos The goal is to manage time and space better and restore order to your family life to connect more.

This training has been approved for 2 hours of foster parent training credit.

Please print and fill out this certificate and bring it to the training. Have your caseworker and training facilitator sign the form to ensure you receive the CEUs available. Always notify your caseworker or recruiter of your intention to attend any of the training or support group events on this calendar. Acceptable proof would also include the signature of the trainer on either training materials or notes that includes the title and date of the training.
