Tonight’s topic is navigating stress trauma, and if you are impacted by foster care and adoption in any way, we would love for you to join us.

Pandemic. Racism. Stress. Unknowns. Past trauma. So much is wreaking havoc on our children’s brains and bodies lately. Let’s talk about how these things are impacting our children and why they are struggling because of it – and let’s be honest, why we are struggling, too. Darcie Van Voorst is eager to be with you and share what she has been learning about how stress and trauma impact the body AND simple ways we can release it so it doesn’t create additional chaos in our lives.

We will be meeting in person, however if you would like to join via Zoom, you may watch for a link on the night of the event.

This training has been approved for 2 hours of foster parent training credit.

Instructor: Darcie Van Voorst
