This training will provide foster parents, adoptive parents, and individuals who work with foster/adoptive parents and children with education, information, and personal experience related to the function of behavior and the significance of seeing past behavior to the needs and desires being communicated, as well as how to support good patterns of communication through understanding some basic education about trauma and brain development.
This training will be led by Seasons’ Permanency Support Specialist, Sherri Huizenga, LBSW, CADC, and Seasons’ Outpatient Therapist, Brittany Krause, tLMHC.
This training has been approved for 3 hours of resource parent training credit.
