This training supports participants in gaining insight helpful to working with those who live in poverty. This session discusses strategies to increase skills and knowledge related to the culture of poverty, raise our individual and group awareness about biases as it relates to poverty, and enhance the understanding of children and families to assist in strengthening interactions.

Instructor: Project Harmony wants everyone to feel competent and confident when working with children and families. The Project Harmony Training Institute offers a variety of trainings that will provides awareness, generate learning, or build skills dependent upon your need. This training has been approved for 2 hours of foster parent training credit.

Always notify your caseworker or recruiter of your intention to attend any of the training or support group events on this calendar.
