Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed, evidence-based intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of children from “hard places” such as abuse, neglect, and/or trauma. Because of their histories, it is often difficult for these children to trust the loving adults in their lives, which often results in perplexing behaviors. TBRI® offers practical tools for parents and caregivers to see the “whole child” in their care and help that child reach their highest potential. TBRI® Caregiver Training equips caregivers and those who work with caregivers with the knowledge they need to understand trauma and the skills and practical tools to best meet the needs of the children they love and care. TBRI® uses the latest research on attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience to help families reconnect through building trust, meeting physical needs, and providing ways to help families correct behaviors.

This training has been approved for 5.5 hours of foster parent training credit.

Instructor: Joella Gerber, LISW, TBRI® Practitioner
