Manny has a passion for serving others, and he has more than eight years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and those experiencing mental health conditions.
His home includes two adults, two children, and no pets. The family is Christian and loves attending church together on weekends. They also enjoy attending family gatherings every month and celebrating birthday parties together, and Manny’s Host Homes mentee would be welcome at any celebrations. The typical day for Manny involves waking up at 7 a.m. and going to bed at 10 p.m. He enjoys watching movies and sports – especially soccer and football – in his free time, and Manny strives to run about 15 miles every week.
Manny’s home is near several parks and trails, restaurants, and shops. His home is open to a male Host Homes mentee who does not smoke or drink alcohol. The home has three levels, with bathroom and laundry access on multiple floors.
Manny says his perfect day would be sleeping in until 9 a.m., going out to eat and going to the movies with his family, then going to bed by 8 p.m. If Manny’s home sounds like a great fit for you or someone you know, reach out! Contact us by calling 515.238.3085 or emailing HostHome@LSIowa.org.
