90-Day Assistance Program

Immigrant and Refugee Community Services

Through a new 90-day program from the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement, Ukrainians who were granted humanitarian parole (UPH) upon entry to the United States after February 24, 2022 are eligible for services and assistance through organizations like Lutheran Services in Iowa.

Walk-ins are also available in case of emergency. An interpreter is typically available in person.

LSI’s Ukrainian support staff are located in Des Moines, but they are able to travel or provide services remotely via phone or Zoom.
