Queen is a longtime Direct Support Professional (DSP) with a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities in reaching their full potential. She has experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, brain injuries, and those who use wheelchairs, and has also provided backup care for a host home mentor. Opening her home is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to build lasting relationships and offer mentorship in a family-like environment.

Residing in Waukee, she shares a newly built, spacious two-story townhome with her fiancé and their four children, who range from toddler to preteen. The home offers plenty of space and amenities to ensure comfort and accessibility. They are an active and close-knit family that enjoys spending time at the park, watching movies, attending church, and engaging in community activities. Weekly traditions include movie or game nights on Saturdays and big family dinners on Sundays. They also enjoy celebrating holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s together.

In her free time, Queen loves cooking new recipes, crafting, and exploring local attractions like museums, zoos, and parks. To her, a perfect day begins with an early start, a good breakfast, and a productive morning—followed by fun outdoor time with her family and ending with a cozy movie night. Her goal is to offer a warm, supportive, and engaging home for someone who can truly become part of their family.
