There are many tools used throughout IFSC to help programs be successful in their endeavor to procure the Iowa Family Support Credential. This tools are also discussed during the first meeting with a program specialist to formally enter technical assistance.
Body of Evidence Box and Body of Evidence Box Checklist: Used in conjunction with the Iowa Family Support Standards (IFSS) to help programs decide what to put in their “box” and what needs to be available on site for the peer reviewers to review.
Iowa Family Support Standards (IFSS): Refers to a list of approved standards that provides programmatic and organizational guidance based on best practices for family support programs. (August 2022 Update)
Linking Standards: Groups IFSS together by topic to help programs think about the IFSS by topic if preferred by the program.
Ratings Indicator Sheet: Provides the ratings given to programs in peer review report indicating if programs were in or out of adherence.
New Program Application: Application to begin working on the Iowa Family Support Credential for programs that are new to the credential.
Renewal Program Application: Application to renew the Iowa Family Support Credential for program that have previously earned the credential.
Staffing Grid Application: Document that is used during TA and peer review which is used to ensure programs know what needs to be included in evidence for all staff members in the program and/or organization.
