Doristus and her family are excited to welcome a Host Homes mentee into their lives. With a background in caregiving that began in high school, Doristus now works in a hospital with trauma patients, bringing years of hands-on experience to her role as a mentor.
She lives in a peaceful neighborhood near Jordan Creek Mall with her husband and their three children, ages 3 to 14. As a family, they enjoy traveling, baking, and preparing holiday meals together.
If you choose Doristus as your mentor, you can look forward to an active and welcoming home. While she and her family have no preference for hosting male or female mentees, they do ask that their mentee be a non-smoker.
A typical day at Doristus’ home starts with a shared breakfast, followed by school or work, and ends with a family dinner and some quality time together—whether that’s relaxing or doing a fun activity. Doristus enjoys cooking, participating in Bible studies, running, shopping, and, most importantly, being a loving mom and wife.
