You’re 18…now what? Where will you work, where will you live, and what happens when you hit the road bumps in life? Join us for a keynote speaker, youth panel, community resource fair, dinner, and door prizes! Bring your 16-year-old foster or adoptive child or children with you to this event.
This training has been approved for 1 hour of foster parent training credit.
Speaker: Vanessa McNeal is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and two-time TEDx Speaker. She speaks nationally on how to confront adversity with grace using her personal story as a vehicle to inspire and empower others. This event will also include a youth panel discussing their experience aging out of foster care.

Please print and fill out this certificate and bring it to the training. Have your caseworker and training facilitator sign the form to ensure you receive the CEUs available. Always notify your caseworker or recruiter of your intention to attend any of the training or support group events on this calendar. Acceptable proof would also include the signature of the trainer on either training materials or notes that includes the title and date of the training.
