WHAT it is, WHY it is horrific, WHERE it is happening, and HOW to help

Training Objectives:
– Identify types of sexual abuse and human trafficking
– Discuss trauma associated with sexual abuse and human trafficking
– Examine prevalence and statistics as they relate locally
– Discuss the benefits of utilizing multi-disciplinary and trauma informed approach when working with survivors of sexual abuse and/or human trafficking
– Discuss services available to survivors and how to access them if you encounter a survivor who is in need advocacy or assistance

This training has been approved for 2 hours of foster parent training credit.
