The transition back to school this year may have presented new challenges for all kids, particularly kids from hard places, following the long COVID-19 “break.” Megan Kooima, president of Excel Achievement and principal of Ireton Christian School, will be sharing ways to foster successful transitions as our kids navigate re-entering the world of friends, teachers, grades, and the anxiety that can exist in this space. She will share specific strategies to lessen academic gaps, as well as provide ways to connect with special services available in our area.

This training has been approved for 2 hours of foster parent training credit.
