In this course, the learner will build upon a trauma-informed care perspective and be provided with a more in-depth look at resilience and strategies to build resilience in populations served through child welfare.

Participants will:

  • Review the definition of “trauma”
  • Define “resilience”
  • Identify challenges in fostering resilience
  • Learn strategies to foster resilience

This training has been approved for 1.5 hours of foster parent training credit.
