In this course, the learner will build upon a trauma-informed care perspective and be provided with a more in-depth look at resilience and strategies to build resilience in populations served through child welfare.
Participants will:
- Review the definition of “trauma”
- Define “resilience”
- Identify challenges in fostering resilience
- Learn strategies to foster resilience
This training has been approved for 1.5 hours of foster parent training credit.
