Taiwa and her family are ready to welcome a mentee into their home. Tawia has always had a passion to help others.

Taiwa’s typical day starts out early at 5 a.m. to read and pray. She then gets ready takes her kids to school and gets to work on her daily to-do list. Tawia and her family are looking to mentor a younger individual that is nonsmoking.

Located in Ankeny, her mentee will have access to multiple places of interest including multiple groceries stores, shopping centers, parks and trails. Tawia and her family have strong Christian faith and attend church.

Tawia developed a passion for health and helping others when she worked in a mental health hospital as a CNA. As a young girl, she took care of her ailing father.
