Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8-hour training to teach participants how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it helps trainees identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.

Snacks and beverages will be provided. Attendees will be responsible for providing their own lunch. This training has been approved for 8 hours of foster parent training credit.

Instructor: Angie Dixon

Angie has had 30 years of experience speaking and training across the U.S., as well as 10 years training in corporate America at IBM and Eastman Kodak Co. After graduating from Notre Dame Law School in 2000, Angie began training local, regional, and national audiences. From Finding Words Indiana, to The National Child Protection Training Center and Child Advocacy Studies, and now with Dixon Training, Angie continues to motivate and inspire.

Please print and fill out this certificate and bring it to the training. Have your caseworker and training facilitator sign the form to ensure you receive the CEUs available. Always notify your caseworker or recruiter of your intention to attend any of the training or support group events on this calendar.
